Axl Rose on the mic and Jimi Hendrix on the guitar

Acoustic guitar: Django Reinhardt

Electric guitar: Jimi Hendrix

Bass guitar: Les Claypool

Drums: John Bonham

That would be a talented but likely unlistenable jam session.

Just to make it worse, throw in Mike Patton on the mic.

John Fogerty and Tab Benoit on guitars

Phil Lesh on bass

Levon Helm  playing drums

Mac Rebennack jr. (AKA Dr. John) Keyboards

Jimi is a better writer then guitarist.

I also like the twists and emotion that eric adds to his covers

I respect your opinion with regards to Jimi Hendrix but could not disagree more. I have always felt his only weakness was his lyrics. Out of curiosity, which of his songs do you think have the strongest lyrics?

Your dream band and Burton's not back in Metallica!? Bleh!

Time for my band:

Guitar: Eddie Van Halen, Randy Rhoads
Bass: Steve Harris, Nikki Sixx, Cliff Burton
Drums: John Bonham
Lead Vocals: Jeff Keith
Geddy Lee: Keyboards

Yes I have 3 basses... If Spinal Tap can do it, so can I!

I'll throw these guys in the reserves for the occasions when I need these instruments:

Rick Davies: Harmonica
Alto Reed: Saxophone
Jimmy Page: Mandolin (yes... I want Page for the mandolin!)
