I was hoping I covered you with Sesame Street, there.

I didn't think about Nova--I haven't watched that in a long time. I'll have to give it a shot. And yes, I'd say if you're into shows like Nova then you're missing a lot by not having cable or DSS. National Geographic, the Science Channel, Tech TV, Discovery, Discovery Wings, Discovery Health, TLC (was The Learning Channel)...

I'm surprized no one mentioned Mr. Wizard from Nickolodeon in the 80's. Mr. Wizard was so much better than Bill Nye. Mr. Wizard made science fun.

Have you actually found anything interesting on Animal Planet? I've been tempted to delete the channel from my guide. Much better animal shows on National Geographic and Science Channel. It's not on my poll but Science of the Deep is pretty cool.

Well, The most Extreme is fun, but other than that, there isn't much worth watching.

The Science Channel is the best channel ever! The discovery channel has good specials but their normal programming is boring. I am looking forward to this one : http://dsc.discovery.com/convergence...nefertiti.html

I used to watch Bill Nye The Science Guy. The theme song was GREAT.

I don't watch much TV but if I have some time and I am in front of the tube...I usually turn to the weather network, Discovery or the Learning Channel. Of the ones on the poll...I had to go with Sesame Street. It has remained in my top 10 shows all these years. Sure it sucks compared to what it used to be....but that's change for you. When the master dies...it is expected his minions will botch it up.

Mystery Science Theater 3000 beats them all down to a little wee pulp that is excreted out of Tom Servo's gumball-hole.
Bill Nye was fun though....lame, but fun.

Wish I had DirecTV or digital cable so I could get the really good channels. I usually watch Discovery, Animal Planet (mostly for Crocodile Hunter, the guy is insane), Travel, Food Network, and Cartoon Network.

I'd have to say Bill Nye if only because a high school friend of mine was one of his assistants on the show.
