Best way to carry PK1s (or any buds for that matter)?

I find that the film tube the PK1s came in is a bit small for carrying them. They are not easy to wedge in there. So, my question is, what do people use for travelling with them?

There are loads of similar cases but I really want something that protects the 'phones specifically.

I keep my PK3 in one of my several Sony MDR-E828/829V carry cases.

I keep my Zune USB cable in the velour Zune pouch, and then put the Zune, USB and PK3 in Sony case all in an old Minolta camera bag.

That Sony case looks nice. Plenty of protection and keeps everything neat.

Yeah, and you can find the sony mdr-828 at any wal-mart for $15 -- and they aren't half-bad for beater-phones!

But the film tube came in a wooden box. Why don't you just use the box instead of the tube?

The clear plastic case that comes with Scotch 3M electrical tape is perfect for the PK-1's.

Shop 3M: Scotch Super 33+ Vinyl Electrical Tape, 3/4 in x 20 ft (19 mm x 6.1 m)

The box doesn't seem ideal either, because the wood is easily damaged. It's also rather chunky to carry in a pocket etc. Plastic is deal as it's cheap, scratch resistant and light.
