FS or FT: ESOTERIC P-500 CD TRANSPORT Price Dropped to $195!!!

Open to trades towards a Grado RS-1 or something interesting.

I have for sale an Esoteric P-500 CD transport.



It's in nice shape with a very small mark on the fascia being the most noticeable marring.
Unit comes with the rare remote which lacks the battery door.
The batteries stay put regardless so I never bothered ordering a replacement door from Teac/Tascam.
This is a very solidly built transport which sounds both delightfully detailed yet smooth and because of the one third width format doesn't take up gobs of room on your desktop or in your audio rack.

Please note that this is a CD transport only and requires being connected to an external DAC.

I'll be asking $195us obo plus shipping.

No kidding.
My internet connection to the outside world is somewhat buggered at the moment and I don't seem to have the bandwidth to post pics.
Hopefully this is just sunspots or the drunk in the earth station or who knows...
