Since today my alessandro ms-1 decided to die on me (broken cable) I don't have any other option than to buy new headphones since recabling in the netherlands would be a problem.
Now there are 3 options left for me: buy them again (and wait 5 weeks for shipping), buy new headphones or buy IEM's. I have about 100-150$ to spend and I'm currently left with my ep-630's so the sooner I have new ones the better.
I'm currently leaning towards the K242HD which I could buy in stores nearby (though I can't try them out) but are they that different from the ms-1's? As for IEM's, most in stores nearby are either ugly or don't deliver the sound. As for music I listen to, mainly pop/electric and sometimes rock.
