convert mpc to mp3 in os x ?

guys i have a few albums in musepack that i backed up before i sold them.. i'm NOW on os x and was wondering how to transcode...

i don't think max or xld can do as i've tried...

I am fairly certain Musepack is support by Max (at least for decoding). Don't have any Musepack files though, so not able to test.

By the way, you are aware that transcoding lossy to lossy is bad, sound wise.

it's ok.. s'long as i can play it in itunes .

Here is a list of software which support mpc including some Mac OS programs. Maybe those programs can help you convert. Or you can switch to one of those players (instead of the extremely limited itunes)

If you just want to play MPC files, you don't need to convert them, just download Faasoft Audio Converter for Mac to play them. It's free. If you insist to convert them to MP3, Faasoft also can do this job, but it's not free.
