Dorm Room Audio Setup

Hey everybody, I have a few questions regarding a dorm room audio setup I'm planning on buying and expanding on over the next year or so. Right now, I'm thinking about picking up some Acculine A1 speakers and a matching Acculine ASub woofer. I plan on expanding it over the summer by picking up another pair of A1s and an A2 center channel to make for a full surround setup.

The main question I have relates to the receiver. I don't have much knowledge about receivers and I want a good one for around $200. I was looking at the Onkyo TX-SR304. Do you guys have any other recommendations as far as receivers go?

If I were you I would be checking vintage.

Denon makes some good receivers. I might think twice about the subwoofer. In a dorm environment they can cause a lot of disruption and before you know it the RA is pounding on your door telling you to turn it off.

How the hell does your dorm have room for all that? My college dorm room could barely handle having dinky, gayed Logicrap speakers.

Depending on where you go, dorms can be fairly spacious. Next year I'm going to be an RA so I'm going to have hoards of space to myself.
