Just wonder whether the promo still available? Just found it and very interest for my ms2i.
But any instruction for how to apply the new cap? What kind of clue should be used? and whether the deal included the pads on pictures? Are they GS1000 pads?

Jeremy's a great guy. The first headband never made it to me so he sent off a second one, no questions asked. Took me a while to do the replacement but I'm glad I did. It is so much more comfortable than the old plastic/vinyl one. I'd say the HF-1s are actually comfortable now(!), whereas before they were merely tolerable.

sorry guys, been busy.

Here is a small teaser pic of what is to come. Got some beyer pads, denon pads, all in lambskin leather and handmade. V3 headbands, new logo, and dustbags

Beyer pads will be $54.99. Considering that they are all handmade and take about 2 hours a set, I feel that my price is more than fair.

For the denon pads, the price is unknown at this point as I need to factor in the increased difficulty in the more complex shape.

AKG pads for the K240 (sextetts) are also in the works.

As for DX1000 pads, that may be something to consider, however, I would need a large interest as I invest in molds to help cut the leather and make my life easier, and also producing a better, cleaner made product. So, large interest would be required.

What are the differences between the V2 headbands and the V3?

V3 uses a higher grade lambskin leather, uses a firmer more comfortable padding, is thicker in width (wider headband) for comfort, and the ends of the headband are stitched closed so that it looks like the stitching is fully connected to each other. This means that the headband has to be stitched first before putting it together, then stitched again.\

The new V3 also will carry the Jmoneyaudio logo on the padded side and a new color has been brought in. Camel lambskin leather.
