Wow! I've never heard Liszt described as "relaxing" before!

The most important thing I've found about piano music is that there's no way any average player can compare to the very best. Rubinstein, Horowitz, Gillels and Richter completely wipe the floor with their competition. The difference is like night and day.

The most obvious recommendation for beautiful relaxing piano music would be Debussy by Gieseking, Arrau, Richter, Michelangeli... Or Chopin's Nocturnes by Rubinstein.
