Phonak Audeo (PFE) Appreciation Thread - Page 123

I see people mention the problems with the cables, I dunno if I just don't use them the same way but I've had mine for nearly a year and have no problems what so ever...

They seem to be thin, but I'm just wondering how much or how hard people are using them to literally go threw the cable. Like I said, I guess I'm just gentler or have different habits, but my cables are sturdy and show no signs of wear at all.

i was going to the official website to order one but guess they're run out of stock, or r they getting the Version 2 in? I heard some rumors abt the new audeo pfe w better cable and housing

I heard that the Ver2 is coming in within this 2 weeks if no more accident from a reliable source. they gonna do the exchange for my pair crack shell and exposed wire.

how the Phonak work w Ipod Touch 1G? do you need amp too boot up the volume and stuff? with my old PK2 i had to turn up the volume haft way than wat i used to.

Yeah I also heard the same thing, this was the email i received from today:

Hello, I’m expecting the new PFEs to be here sometime in the next few days. From what I heard they are on the way, but we are not sure if they will be here at the end of this week or the first of next week. Either way it should be soon.

Got the same info from the President of HearingPlanet, which is the American distributor of Phonak. End of November.

Does anybody have an idea what Phonak changed with this new version? Especially whether the sound quality remains the same?

My right driver is hanging by a thread, so I will need to replace my PFEs soon...

Still back ordered on Earphone Solutions. Does not look like I am getting them any time soon, how sad.
