Portland PDX Oregon Feb-Mar 09 Meet?

Greetings all,

As discussed previously, would like to put it out there for Portland meet. Particularly interested to learn more about ortho's (and the secret handshake!?), and seems like a few of y'all have made some good progress that you may like to share with the class.

Would Feb 28 or Mar 1 work? (I remember Dev mentioning some Feb concern, pls update.)

Anyway, will send some PM's out, to get the ball rolling...

Hey Andrew , good to see you are still at the helm

It has been a while hasn't it. Pity the amps I have built will be on their way to their new owners by then but we can still have fun. I have a whole arsenal of things for folk to sink their teeth into and I would be curious if Kevin can finally break his silence ;-) ..dB

Kudos to Andrew yet again for taking the initiative.

I am down for a meeting, I just don't think I would have my B22 amp ready by then.

However, I will have a few upgrades and a new CKKIII amp ready to roll.

Not that this really matters cause I CAN'T go... But I do miss Portland. Great place!!!

How about a potential inventry ?? I will edit my first post and keep it updated for a quick glance

any K1000's going to come out and play?

ps Big Poppa - bring some more along with you, it will be great to have the seattle contingent too

Just an update on the room availability at the RAC: end of Feb is still open, as is all of March (other than 21st).

I'd like to get a few more replies before firming up a date. And since we're a pretty small group in any case, perhaps people (Saachi!?) can try to confirm any dates they definitely could NOT make it?

For anybody sitting on the fence, sacd-lover has graciously agreed to let me bring his amp along but if this gets dragged out, I am going to have to send it off to him. Prepare to be in awe



and yes - it should drive the K1000's effortlessly
