hfi 780/2200 or dt 770 pro

need a second set of cans for movie watching via my av receiver. i can get either of these for roughly the same price - strange as I can get the 2200 for £20 cheaper than the 780.

I would pick the most comfortable one, which I think might be the HFI-2200, but not too sure since I only own the 780 out of the 3 (the 780 is not that comfortable, but its bass is quite nice for movies and such). Think the normal DT770 is more confortable than the pro one, which has too much clamp?

For movies and music the 2200 will be great. And it's more comfy then the HFI780 for long sessions .

brothers/sisters you have spoken - so far the hfi 780 is winning. I will be ordering the winner in 2 hours... so get your votes in.

ultrasone hfi 780

It's been longer than 12 hours.

While the 780 is the superior phone, the 2200s unique holographic staging would have been my choice for films.
For those wanting slam for explosions, etc., watch better movies.

Is hijacking OK? For you to continue voting since I'm looking at either HFI-780 or DT770pro 80ohm for movies as well?
What are the sonic and comfortability differences of these two cans?

thanks
