Well guys...I was certainly not trying to be aggressive...just did not appreciate being told to chill.

FWIW...check out the date I joined Head Fi. I am not just some "eager Head-Fi'er", rather someone who had a genuine question, that apparently a few other experienced Head Fi'ers agreed with by the way.

I also don't buy the fact that the portable amp section is too new for the Lisa threads to have been moved yet. I mean I don't think there is any debating that it's the best sounding portable going today...so it arguably should have been the FIRST bunch of threads moved over to the portable section. The fact that it's still not here....makes me wonder is all.

Again...don't mistake my inquiry for being a sh!# disturber...and note that I have been pleasant until someone told me to chill without an intelligent contribution to the question.

**BTW Big Poppa....that review was not for the current Lisa III I don't gather. Sounds like more of an XP sized unit...the original version. While still portable...not a fair comparison to the original, size wise that is.

Anyway....so much for the question.

Honestly, Triad needs to make a solid desktop amp (Preferably with another name) so the Lisa isn't confused this way.

ummm wahhhh?? the lisa is a portable amp, and if you do a little reading Triad are developing a desktop version, another fullsize tube amp called the valvecode, another fullsize solid state amp called the headcode and a portable version of that called the portacode. So the lisa is definitely designed to be portable and that is her place, its just because it actually has enough power and can be used with a decent enough PSU that it can do double duty for some people

its not so much for our searching that we are having trouble; we KNOW where the thread is, thats the point there is tons of people mentioning the lisa in here and it sits at the top of the portable amps ratings and has done for ages. people talk about lisa like she is what she is, the best sounding portable/transportable amp going. but the appreciation and impressions thread is in the full size forum and it doesnt make any sense and still no response.

Triad Audio has nothing but praise for Head-fi. A small start-up company, with one product, and a meager budget has access to
over 80,000 members! word of mouth opinions from all over the world in live time! only in this century is this possible.
That said T.A. is expanding our product line and have PM-ed inquiries regarding actually paying for a Triad Thread,
As far as placement ? If Lisa remains compared to desktops.
then when our desktop comes out it can compete with "Home amps" and when our cascaded Home amps come out .. well
then we might need to invent a totally new category.!!!!! IMHO
