0.02$ / 12 seconds Koss KSC-50 mod

Hi everybody!

Here's a little something I 'discovered' the other day.
Nothing special, might not be new but who cares? it's
almost 4 am and I'm bored.

Ok, we all know that the Koss KSC-50 are absolutely
incredible for the money. Sound is impressive, comfort
is acceptable or even good. There's only one problem:
When they're hanging on to your ears they are a little
loose IMHO, so when you turn your head sharply or
move otherwise they might not fly off but they will (temporarily) change their position/distance from your ears - which alters the
sound and is very annoying.
Therefore, these headphones are not optimal for working out, jogging etc.

So, here's the solution.
Take one short piece of insulated wire and wrap it around the
two cords that go to the earpieces (I used a paper clip
when I was first 'experimenting' since that was all I had in
my office - but this could damage the cable)
Red wire looks good on grey.
Right above this light-greyish Y-piece is a good place.

Quote:
It shouldn't be too tight so it can still slide up and down, but tight enough to firmly hold its position

Ok, now put the 'phones on. done? Now slide your wire up
until it's one inch below your chin ( or higher if you like )
You could headbang now, the Koss won't move a bit!

Hope you liked this.
I guess I'll go to bed now

Bye
