You could be right, after resetting Rockbox to default everything sounded much better, I didn't have my LOD when I started playing with the EQ so I based my adjustments on the headphone out.
I think the problem is in a way like the dilemma people on this site have, where do you stop! I just added a few dB to the base (LS) channel to help out my AD900's a bit. Anyway thanks for your help guys.
