Hey Everybody,
I just wanted to ask that once you register with Westone for extra one year warranty, how can i sell them to someone so that, that person can have the 2 year warranty?
I asked Westone a few weeks ago and they said the warranty is not transferable to another user.. is there a way around this problem?
Cheers..!

Keep it unregistered till you decide to sell or not?
This is off topic and I am sorry. Are you going to sell it? What is your comparison of the two? I wish iI can make one IEM out of two!
I have a two day old W3, I have not registered it yet.

I kept mine unregistered...I dnt really register any of my products unless the warrantee is transferable...but you can still sell it though, there are people willing to buy it whichever way...and when there's a problem, they can always send it back to you and you send it to westone ^ ^

kaushama, i was asking about after "mistake" solutions
Actually i like both earphones.. but have to sell one of them because i can't afford both of them..
W3's are very detailed and balanced..
IE8's don't have that instrument separation but they just suite my taste better... (I explained about how they sound in the IE8 thread)
Yes, I'm selling W3's.. if you're interested, PM me..

hmmmm.. i did a mistake by registering for warranty as soon as i got them.....
Good idea of sending them back through me after i sell them though..
Will try selling them in a few days...

I could see if you had them for an extended period of time or a year or whatever and tried to sell and transfer the warranty but if you only had them a few weeks? I'd be shocked Westone wouldn't work with the customer on something like that. Just be sure to send the buyer a copy of your invoice. I wouldn't worry about it.
