I'm trying to decide between the A8620 and the A867 as op amps in a home-based Meta that will be powering Ety ER-4P/S. Anyone got an opinion as to which sounds better with these phones?

which opamp would give the best bass response?

I haven't heard the Etys with a META42, but did hear them with the Cosmic which uses OPA627 opamps, and the combination was spectacular. I have heard META42s with OPA627 and the similar OPA637 and those are the opamps I like best in a META42. Other opamps I've heard in META42s include AD8610, AD843, AD823, and OPA2132. The AD843 would be my second choice after the OPA627.
