Question about online order for 800s

Quick question on an online order - I ordered up the 800s from headphone.com the other night, but haven't called. I assume I'm on the list for the first batch (based on your comments on how many people have already ordered, how many you are going to get), but let me know if I should call to discuss anything in person.

Warming up the Headroom DAC and Micro amp (desktop module) with some 580s in preparation

Hi Gordie,

If you've already placed your HD800 order you should be well within the first allotment we expect to receive from Sennheiser. Senn has been a bit guarded about how many we will get right off the bat but we have basically asked for as many as they'll send with 65 pieces being our predicted initial batch.

Hopefully, we'll have more HD800s to follow shortly thereafter!

Ordered mine on Thursday, right when they came up on the website. I have bought all of my cans from Headroom. No better place to get headphones from. Throw in the 30 day return policy, and the rest is gravy. In fact I ordered some RS-2's to tide me over until the 800's ship. Is it February yet?!!!

More power and higher slew rate, which translate into louder, more dynamics, and often more bass for very power hungry headphones. If the HD800's benefit from balanced drive like the HD650's did, it will be even more awesome.
