NO! Sorry, not nice to tease, sorry, really.

Retroactively, yes, all domestic orders will be shipped free.

Yeah, but you'd be the envy of all the homeless audiophiles out there.

Oh geez! Sorry, again, really.

Thanks, Headroom!

Thanks Headphoneaddict,
I like the layout of the larger refrigerator boxes with their roomy floor plan and ability to expand for future family growth, not to mention the thick sound-proof walls for critical late night reference listening. And not only would I have the HD800s, but when this housing market recovers I'll have made the wisest investment of all, under valued "no" income housing!!!!

Sorry, this one is more the size of a pup-tent.

Well, back to cables - speaking for the balanced crowd, will replacement cables be available when the first units ship? I really think it unwise to hack the stock cable, just in case it has to be returned for any reason. The other approach is to identify those Lemo connectors to reterminate one of my aftermarket cables, in the event additional stock cables are not available.

Thoughts?

One thing I always think is unfair (and this is very common, not singling out Headroom) are Free Shipping Offers that only apply to domestic order. What does shipping cost domestically? Say it’s $20. So you save $20 shipping, which is great. But then International customers have to pay the full shipping (say $40). Shouldn’t the International customer get a break too?

Eventually I would like to pick up a HD800, but probably in the April timeframe after I get my big tax refund.

HeadRoom has just upped our HD800 pre-order numbers with Sennheiser so we expect all our pending orders thus far will ship in the initial batch of HD800 headphones we receive!

According to last word from Al Zang at Sennheiser as of Friday afternoon 1/16/09, the expected HD800 availability from Senn corporate is now first week of March. ... However, we're keeping our fingers crossed for sooner delivery. In either event, HR is expected to be allotted the very first batch of HD800s into North America.

Sounds like I should preorder from now. By the time the headphone is available and my card charged, I'd be ready to purchase it!
