complete this sentence in a way that applies to you.

For me:

Listening to your portable setup while you have your home headphones, which is hooked up to your amp, around your shoulders lols.

Basically: Listening to D2 at computer, going through an E5, which is charging via USB from computer while having your main headphones around your shoulders.

I look like such a goof atm :P

you lug around your portable rig as though it was made from 24K gold and diamonds.

- You pass up offers of free music because they're not in a lossless format.

- You worry about bringing your portable rig through airport security.

Eh, why does listening to your portable rig when you have your home rig available a sign of audiophile-ism? It just seems foolish to me, when you have the better one right next to you.

... when your Ipod no longer fits in your pocket

... when your headphones are made from a tree

... when your headphones cost more than your Ipod

... when your cable/s cost more than your ipod!

When you warn other people about their wallets.

You used to listen to The Ramones, but recently you find yourself listening to more Diana Krall.

...when your system is powered from dedicated circuits, or when you have a dedicated listening room [i.e. without desk or bed]. I have the former.

- when you get a plastic container and line it with a towel that your headphones don't get scratched when you put them away in the closet.

My wife gave me quite a verbal beating on that one.

There's a desk in my listening room, but I have to sit in the closet to use it. The speakers need 90% of the room's space for proper placement.

^LOL
to post a pic of your listening area you have to raise the window and take a shot from outside.
