If you guys are interested in the full dynamic range editions of Earache's classic back catalog, we just did an interview with owner and founder Digby Pearson here.

You should definitely check out Antediluvian.

Weapon is also excellent, but different.

yup weapon is different which is why I separated it from the others. I just happened to be listening to it tapping my toes and really grooving with the music \m/

Weapon is f-----g awesome live. The members run their own merch booth which was nice to see as well.

I bought the new Weapon album awhile back and still haven't listened to it. I need to get on that.

I am hoping to review this by end of week for next. I have very very very high hopes. The word on the street is its AOTY material.

Speaking of Weapon, Daemon Worship Productions (scroll down) is releasing some early early demo material that is quite cool. I still have to listen to it myself.

Dutch bm band from my area. Recorded in one day. Reminds me of Nagelfar (not Naglfar). Unexpectedly mature and intense. The EP is a free download. The title means something like "Philosopher & Jester" and the album is based on Goethe's Faust, hence the painting on the cover.

Quote from Forever Cursed:

"This is one EP i've been hooked on lately. Featuring members of Northward (from whom i've talked about their awesome Demo here) and White Oak, Laster is a Dutch black metal formation founded and located in Utrecht, the Netherlands. "Wijsgeer & Narreman" is a conceptual work presenting us three tracks inspired by Goethe's tragic play, Faust. The first impression i got when i heard this EP for the first time, was about their sound, if these guys were north-american they would get the label "cascadian" written all over them. The sound of "Wijsgeer & Narreman" is quite good, it features an outstanding drum work and some creepy voice, almost like one harpy coming straight from the most dark and frozen mountain cave. Delivering three great and emotional tracks, Laster did a terrific job with this EP. It carries a lot of poetic emotions balanced with the right dose of grimness. It's going straight to my shelf of the best EPs of the year for sure. The band is looking for a label to manifest a physical release, so if by the way you run a label and if you are interested, contact them here. Check out the EP on their Bandcamp (where you can download the EP for free) and get your dose of black metal for today. Highly recommended!"

I am liking the song you posted. Thanks.

Oh by the way, anyone know of well produced war/bestial metal albums like Teitanblood's Seven Chalices? I haven't really found anything quite like it.
