hmmm. never thought about buying from the label. most of the bands im looking for dont exist any more so ill def try that out. thanks Negakinu

that's always how I do it, if the cd is out of print, I try used cd stores, and amazon

So I'm started to search the thread to make sure I don't post something that's already been posted.

 

There's a really weird album called Heliogabalus by Rorcal that I'm not sure how I feel about yet. If anyone can make it through please let me know what you think (Don't skip around, it ruins the flow).

I just received a 15 minute video recording of the last gig I ever played with my old band, Inger Indolia. We quit in 2003 and from the ashes of the band Carach Angren arose. I can't express how awesome it is for me to see this video after all these years and I'm hoping to collect a lot of old Inger Indolia material and put everything online. Fun fact: for a short while we used to have Simone from Epica on clean vocals. ;)

 

You can see me playing the synth on the right, Seregor on vocals. Our melodic black metal style had evolved into a more modern metal sound. This was early 2003.

 

 

Check out this track from out 2001 demo "Sycosynthesis". Recording quality is ofcourse abhorrent, but hey, it's black metal. :p

i like it, i have a couple Rorcal albums and they're pretty good (at least sometimes)

Got some more Metal vinyl I can't listen to right now. 

 

Testament's Dark Roots of Earth on Gold vinyl splattered with black. Really looking forward to this one. Popped up on quite a few 'Best of 2012' lists.

Has anyone here heard of Gwynbleidd? I just found their debut album and I'm liking it so far. Progressive death with a few Opeth similarities.

I love Opeth clones. Check out Fornost Arnor, they also have a fairly strong Opethian influence. I will check Gwynbleidd out beerchug.gif
