Huzzah, another forum rife with material to go through!

On the downside, I realize that I can't really call myself a metalhead anymore. The hardest I ever got in terms of metal was Children of Bodom, maybe Lamb of God >.<

A late Xmas gift from arguably one of the greatest death metal bands of all time, Incantation's Vanguish in Vengeance is a beast:

I had seen the drum playthrough, god damn it those feet, also, they play 7 strings at drop E (equivalent of a 6 at drop A) I found that kind of funny

anybody here likes Jane Doe by Converge? It's mostly called a masterpiece, one of the highest rated albums un sputnikmusic. I've heard it a couple times but I'm still not able to fully get it...

i mean it's not a bad album at all (they've never made a bad album) but i just don't dig Converge at all.  can't put my finger on it, just don't dig it.

I'm kind of on the same side. I'll keep listening and will read the lyrics to see if anything magical happens hahaah, on the other hand, i liked AWLWLB more, but still don't dig it as much as other albums that have come out this year

well I guess I'll add my two cents to the Technical metal

Check out Abolish The Echelon, they are fairly talented guys that came out of youtube, started doing covers and now have their debut coming out
