That's interesting, because I instantly liked them. It all comes down to personal taste.

That's pretty much the only Brain Drill song I like :P

Another band that has been waaaaay too quiet over the past years.
Come on, Urheimat! Get your **** together!
Some of the coolest Prog Black Metal I know.
Just listen to The Spires Of A Thousand Kings. Sweeptastic!

Speaking of wanky tech death, anyone like Anomalous? Fallujah reminded me of them, actually.

I LOVE that album, OHMnivalent is such an incredible album and song. Marco is such a beast on that whole album. Every time I listen to Six Feet Under, which is almost never, I just wish it was as intense as his other stuff.

Yeah. He's raising a son now, so he's been quiet lately, but I'd love another Vornagar album.

He actually has three kids. He posts pictures all the time on Facebook, usually his giant kit is in the back and two of his kids are wailing on their kits lol. He made "Death Metal Dad" shirts for sale at one point. He's a bit of a conspiracy theorist, but a really cool guy. He's really into organic farming in his back yard as well.

Maybe Igorrr can help..? :L3000:

I agree though, Morbid Angel sucks. Well, they do now anyway. 'Domination' was awesome but that's almost 20 years ago...

I do have to acknowldge however that Gojira (one of my favorite bands, if my avatar didn't give that away) would not have sounded the way they do if it wasn't for Morbid Angel. Their influence is quite apparent, but I do feel Gojira have improved upon the groundwork laid by Morbid Angel, rather than rip them off. In fact, sometimes when listening to Gojira I can't help but wonder what Morbid Angel would think of their sound... I can imagine they are pretty bummed and that thought amuses me. I can keep myself entertained.

BTW, 'Hatework' is one of the best doom tracks ever written, in all its christmassy glory.
