ive heard that this is a must

The new Mayhem is a grower. Definitely not poor.

Burzum? There is a new Burzum record? I can't imagine it being any good given the last few.

Full Septicflesh - Titan streaming in few places ahead of release. Very solid album.

There's nowhere near as much Meshuggah influence as the title implies - stylistically they're somewhere in between Hectic Patterns and Pungent Stench - but/so definitely worth checking out:

P.S. Don't say - Last Resort. That is a party song..

If I was a Sevendust fanboy I'd be ashamed to admit it.

This is pretty bad, but I'm a special educator. I work with young adults with intellectual disabilities. I teach a community and  vocational functional life skills program. The last few days of school (like now) I play them Swedish, hair band hard rockers- Europe's Final Countdown.

Anyone who lived through and survived the 80's will have this, ahem, classic etched in memory.

If you were spared...it's pretty dreadful. But my kids love it and actually sing it with me in class. Then, of course, I have to play the obligatory "School's Out"-Alice Cooper.

And no-I am not suggesting Europe was really a metal band:bigsmile_face:

Cum on feel the noise......I go straight to 80's music whenever these posts come up. Here is another ditty ever so popular when I was just a wee lad:

Oh, I could go on with Twisted Sister, Dokken, Y & T, and Ratt, but I'm going to stop now. Actually, Ratt had a decent record a couple of years ago...for reals

The original 1973 hit, Cmon Feel The Noise was by Slade. It's worth hearing if you have not heard it. The album Mental Heath was a time I actually lived in. Randy Roads had just died and Quiet Riot was kinda the new sound. The recording was fantastic in it's day. The Priest album Screaming For Vengence had just came out and songs like Electric Eye were just amazing to listen to. The sound of Metal was changing fast. Melissa just came out too.biggrin.gif

I was 20 and life was all about beer, ***** and metal music. This album still sounds great to me. You know I'll be playing it instead of the new Priest.
