€350  :(
I also need an amp for this thing.
That is by no means student friendly.
I kind of want to be able to digitize the LPs for my on-the-go listening pleasure.

My findings have been warm signatures are always welcome with all metal music? Have not heard it though?

What I am looking for is something not far removed from the iPhone and MacBook output sound to be honest. An improvement in male vocals would be the only improvement I seek.

Since going from the white SE846 filter to black modded (foam innards removed), the sound is now somewhat warmer. It was cold - it still sounded good of course - but very fatiguing.

The thought of having upwards of 256GB on the go storage is a huge selling point for the AK120 even if I drunkenly sounded off about my increasingly cynical views on product and firmware cycles in the relevant thread, haha.

For the record, the AK100 I thought was extremely disappointing for metal. I heard the AK120 for about 10 minutes but not with metal, driving a LCD-2. It was good, not great.

The AK120 II looks very interesting.

One of the maybe two Deathcore albums I will get into this year. Deep In Hate released their 2014 offering Chronicles Of Oblivion on June 3rd. The whole album is just as good as this song or better.

Blackened Deathcore (early), Progressive/Technical Death Metal/Deathcore (later)
