What's rubbing me the wrong way here is the orchestration (for reasons I can't really describe....).

I'm very eager to hear more new songs from the album!

Tom I hate saying this, but 10 to 1 the production is a compressed nightmare. Staring down that vinyl preorder date...(which may also be terrible)

But yeah, Septic Flesh are awesome. Saw them live too!

haha thanks Trogdor.

I will say though, I never liked The Great Mass as much as their previous efforts. Not that it's bad, but this new song is pretty awesome, pumped for Titan to come out.

Yeah... it does sound compressed, and it was my main gripe with TGM, as well. I know numbers don't say everything, but looking between CD and Vinyl for TGM on DR Database, hopefully Titan will sound better on vinyl.

I agree, I liked the baser, more primal sounding "Communion" and "Sumerian Daemons" on a whole more than the cinematic Dimmu/Fleshgod-esque polish, but just like Fleshgod, this is their sound now. Very stoked.

Almost forgot how much I like Black Breath....spinning Sentenced to Life in my van. Probably to "core"ish for a lot of you. But,  I loved this so called entombedcore sound. But really-a mix of styles.

If you would have told me this was a lost track written between Ghost Reveries and Damnation I wouldn't have even questioned it.

This sounds like a dream come true.
