Well, it's certainly not the Lantlôs I used to know.
Still pretty cool. I guess I'll pre-order it.

Kind of like a heavier version of Shelter :P

Hmmm it's actually not thaaat far off from their older stuff. Except for the vocals of course.

It's required reading as a prerequisite to joining this thread. You should also know that Redcarmoose is actually Glen Benton.

Saw Black Crown Initiate, 1349, Inquisition, Goatwhore, and Behemoth last night. Was ******* awesome. Behemoth in particular bleeds an atmosphere like no other band, and the songs from the Satanist worked REALLY well with their set. I went alone, but with absolutely no regrets.

Wow! What a show, a little bit of everything! Very cool, you lucky man

Looks like a great lineup. Must have been the San Francisco date. I've seen Behemoth and Goatwhore, recommended if you like those styles. I'd go to this but the show is at House of Blues the day after Kadavar, and then I'm going to Graveyard the day after at the same venue. I already have 5 shows in a row booked for May 8-12 (Television, QOTSA, Slint or Fu Manchu, Floor and Truckfighters!). I'm too old for this.

Random question, not metal but metal-ish at times...

Anyone see F'ed Up live?

Cheers-Gotta give a +1 for some of those killer stoner bands...don't see them get around attention here-but I'm a fan of that subgenre....it kind of got me back into metal a few years ago when I was disgusted by all the Creed clones on the radio....big Monster Magnet, Fu, Nebula fan. Those are the bands that convinced my heavy arse rock'n'roll was still alive.

I really liked Ufomammut's Oro double disc that came out a couple of years ago, pretty much anything by YOB, and QOTSA-Like Clikework was about my favorite rock record last year.

Of course-I'm down with extremity too-listening to Grave latest today-luv, luv that sweet Sweedish death crunch.

How was BCI live? They are uber-talented.
