I have a professional quality CD of it made from a record I think. That was common practice for Krautrock coming out in the second wave of popularity in the mid 90s. This is usually something I would listen too at 5am.

Listening to my new (to me) copy of leviathan's 2003 release the tenth sub level of suicide

Talented guy, this is good old-new school BM! And not the worst recorded one man band I've ever heard either

Stockhausen was one of the direct influences the bands explained. Just like you see in Jesse Franco's Succubus movie from the day. Everyone was dropping to Stockhausen and the music was a tool to make the trip longer.

Germany had no pop culture in the early 70s so they heard Pink Floyd and Stockhausen, then emulated them in pop music, the rest is history, as they say.

The music that started it was a rerecording Stockhausen did of different countries National Anthems and mixed it with some noise off the radio. I think it's called Hymn. This is way more popular though.

Sorry if this has been posted before, but I couldn't find it.

Take THAT, Fear Factory...

GET IT FROM THE BAND in FLAC or Apple Lossless.

PS: I'd love to be able to embed tracks/albums straight from Bandcamp, but being the nitwit that I am I can't seem to make that happen. Is there any way to do this or is only Youtube/Vimeo content allowed on head-fi?

This comes out today! Great modern but retro feel. 2014 needs more double lead guitar riffs!

Baby Metal is garbage, but Im digging the waggaki band, I hadn't heard of them...

Anyways, been away a while now, the move to Korea kind of got me behind, but alas i just caught up on like 30 pages of metal.

Im really enjoying the new Behemoth as well

as for my contribution, Matterhorn finally released the second half of their instrumental epic, Vol. 2...And it will Resolve Itself Without Him, I've been waiting for this ever since I heard the first Volume the first time

Top five of the year list!

Ordered Cattle Decapitation Monolith of Inhumanity a couple of weeks ago, and I decided to finally listen to it last week. I gotta say I have been really enjoying it. I found Humanure a bit on the  average side, but this album is refreshing and different. I also bought harvest floor to give that a shot, but that has not arrived yet.
