New Decrepit Birth video!
...
Too bad it's just an old song....

Is it just me or does this version sounds better than the CD version?
Diminishing Between Worlds is my probably favorite Tech-Death album.

I wish they would smoke less and write more music....

God, I love this song!

Black Metal with DR13!!!

I just got this album in the mail... it's fantastic so far. First song is surprisingly laid-back with a melancholic atmosphere. Really takes advantage of the dynamics at some points. I'm very very confident Metal-fi will love it.

Did you already listen to it? I´m curious about how the vinyl version sounds. The CD seems to be pretty crushed.

Production sucks. And people keep getting on my case because I said the bass was meh while many others believe its booming and pronounced (yeah, when its the only instrument playing).

I'd like to do a follow up but I won't buy the vinyl unless I KNOW its a separate master (still trying to figure that out).

The satanist seems to be a pretty strange case. I also heard many people praise the sound as pretty clear and powerful, especially in comparison to earlier behemoth records. But as I mostly I agree with the things said on metal fi, I´ll also wait and hope for a better vinyl master. Would be a shame if it sucked as the music itself kicks a whole lot of ass.

Yeah I'm not paying $44 for a single album (regardless of two records)

Jesus i notice that a lot with modern production-a huge wall of noise-no definition and so loud.A perfect example is van halens new cd-a nice comeback but wtf happened to the mix.

it sounds very powerful played loud on a speaker system, softer volumes or headphones really reveal how smashed out the mix is.  IMO of course...

One of the original "serious" BM bands and closely associated with the likes of Varg....not that that means anything, just saying they seem really fun in recent interviews

Oh!! But I thought, they were associated with Varg w.r.t music and not the other political/relegious agendas?
