Hey guys,

Just got reminded of why I keep an eye on the quebeccois metal scene. This is Phillippr Boucher's (drummer of Beyond Creation) BM project.

This is a Finnish trash band. They had IMO two really good albums when they started (Uudet Kymmen Käskyä, Raja) and occasionally I enjoy them still :) This is a very surgical sounding album with thick, straightforward songs with really solid vocals. Try it out with a grain of salt and remember that these guys do it for the lolz.

the Quebecois have truthfully been the driving force behind the best of Canadian metal since...forever!  i dig incandescence for sure

this probably puts me way behind the curve again, but i just got Demon Lung (the hundredth name) yesterday, and it completely blew me away.  gloriously 70's occult revival but way more sinister than most of the rest that are doing it right now and soooooo sloooooow in spots it's nearly funeral paced.  this isn't doom influenced, this is doom! and blatantly satanic doom at that.  pick it up doom fans!
