Frigoris - Wind. Atmospheric/Pagan/Melodic Black from Germany. It's sweet... Check it:

Wow. I just listened to that one track but I think this is going to make my top 2013 albums. It looks like "Hypnotic Dirge" has a lot of other interesting things too.

Yea, definitely one of my favorite finds. The whole album is awesome.

Some warm and fuzzy Medieval/Atmospheric Black Metal drenched in guitar harmonies - Obsequiae. The album is immense:

I love Black One. It just nails that heavy, dark, Fd up weird thing better than just about anything. I know  Monoliths or even Earth's recent outputs are more critically claimed, and they are all really great albums, way more melody, but there's something just a little more "metal" a little less performance arty or whatnot about Black One.

Black laava flowing down the mountain. Truly, one of the darkest, most corrosive, disturbing listens I've had. Xasthur is cool, but it's like nails on a chalk board. I think Black One is a master work. And, if my wife or daughter are around, I turn that shchiit off so I don't get the "what the hell's a matter w/ you....are you armed, delusional and psychotic?" look.

I'm not.

At least I don't think I am...hee-heeevil_smiley.gif

Black One!!! Cemeteries, coffins, fog billowing from opened graves....dark medieval times.

Approximately 3 years ago when I started listening to Opeth after not caring much about them for a long time, I was very sad that I didn't listen to them earlier. Now, I think the same thing is happening again for a different band.

I betting the bass on that glob of wax will be mesmerizing to say the least. Hope you got sub? Cheers!beerchug.gif

I leaned so much about my old sub from that CD.

Caught up with about 30 unread pages. Nice to be back.
End of September gonna be rad. On 27th I'm going to see Nile (with Lost Soul, Svart Crown, Saratan and Sincarnate - Warsaw and Wrocław got respectively Hate and Vader, which is even better) playing in my city and two days later there's Siberian Meat Grinder (a Russian Thrash/HC/Crossover including members of What We Feel and Moscow Death Brigade) gig. Nice.
