Schematic for the STAX SRD-7/Pro or 7/Mk2 ? - Page 2

Live and learn!
I understand how this Stax stuff (energizers, transformers, ... ) can be hard to get the grip of.

Anybody knows whether the T01 and T02 transformers are the same (in term of model type/ frequency response) on the SRD-7 normal bias and the SRD-7 pro/ MK-2?
Suppose they are the same why is the PRO/MK-2 price so much more expensive than the normal bias SRD-7?

Schematic of SRD-7 Pro/ MKII

Does anybody knows the difference in term of frequency response/ sound quality of SRD-7 with normal bias to SRD7 Pro/ MKII?

Do they both have the same step-up transformer inside?

They're more expensive because they're rarer. BTW, I believe the Pro and MK2 are 2 different adapters. The MK2 has one pro and one normal bias jack. IMO, that makes it worth more than either the pro or normal bias SRD-7s
