Question to those who has bought Audiotechnica ATH-M50 for a long time. How long was the burn-in period (after which the sound was stabilised)?

I don't own the M50, but generally speaking...

Burn in time and effectiveness could vary from method to method, M50 to M50, and from rig to rig. I'd guess that if you're using an amp that's driving them well, 4 straight days should do it.

Nope! 1.5 month passed (2 or more hours of use a day), SQ still changes...
I use M50 with Corda 3Move amp

If wanting to speed up the process, you might want to try running it with high energy music at a louder volume when not in use.

Mine seems stable. When I got it, I ran it overnight with pink noise at about 90dB. I didn't listen before, but now there are no noticeable sound changes. I've had it for about a month now.

Here are some wave samples, pink, white, sine sweeps, bass drums. Most are above 800 kbps if that matters, and about one minute long. I used radio white noise. The sweep scares me a bit, afraid will break the drivers.

Burn-in wave files: white noise, pink noise, frequency sweep, channel mix
