Ballanced GS1000's w/ a B22 your opinions needed

I have just build a ballanced version of the B22 and it sounds great with with my HD580's and 650's. I was thinging about putting ballanced connectors on my GS1000's also. When the B22 was single ended the Gs1000's sounded really nice with this amp. The ballanced version of this amp sounds so much better, so will ballacing these cans be a plus or not?

Thanks

i work under the general assumption that balanced always sounds better. and since you built a B22, i assume you are able to reterminate headphones. so i guess with little difficulty you can answer this question yourself . . .

Yes doing it is no problem, I didn't want to change the ends if it didn't mate well with it, as I have many other SE amps and don't want to use an adaptor. I was looking for someone who may have done it already, is all.

I will post my impressions when I do it.

Thanks

Ask NC8000. He has/had (selling them now) balanced GS1000.

Indeed I have and I like them but my experience may not be of much use as it is a completely different amp I use and also I bought them balanced so do not know what difference balancing them made as I never have heard them single ended. I'm selling them because it is very rare I can use them due the very open nature.

Thanks, I guess I will try it as soon as the connectors arrive.
