i got the beyerdynamic dt990 pro for £100,i though the auzentech prelude x-fi could power them but when i got them i tried them out and they wern't loud enough.I need an amp running from my pc by analog or digital so that the headphones will go louder.I don't know that much about headphones, i want to spend up to 50 on the amp but have no idea which one to get.
When i tried the dt 990 out i had to reduce treble settings and increase bass,are they not supposed to be bassy as i wanted headphones that have good levels of both.Would the dt990 premium or dt 880 pro or premium be better for me and will they have better bass.
I am willing to buy a new amp and willing to return my headphones and spend up to 160 on new ones
