Best around ears >100 in a canadian retail store?

Hey guys,
I'm no expert when it comes to headphones, but I head you are, so here it goes!
I'm looking for a pair of full size headphones for less than $100. I know that kind of limits my options, but could you please give some suggestions?
I'll be using the cans for 2 things:
1) Listening to music from a Samsung P2 mp3 player
2) Playing ps3 games

Also, I need them to be from a store in Canada (now that really narrows down my options!) I would shop online but Verified by Visa doesn't work, so I can't.

How are the JVC HA-S700?

Thanks!

Grado SR60's are immensely popular. I'm not sure if it'll suit your needs I'm sure others can clarify for me.

Thanks, although it doesn't look like I can get them in Canada for less than $100. I saw them online for $130, but that doesn't cut it. They look good otherwise.
Anyone else?

Get a pair of Alessandro MS 1s - only $99.00 which includes shipping anywhere on the planet and are essentially Grado SR 125's or better - more than 2 steps up from the Sr 60s.

I like my JVC HA-RX900s.
If you have an EBay account, they are sold under the brand name
Victor HP-RX900 or (cheaper) Victor HP-RX700

The HA-RX are a good choice. I'm not a gamer but I have watched movies with them and they are mighty fine. I modified them and they have eclipsed my q-jays as my main phones.

Questions: When you say retail store, are you talking bricks-and-mortar? No PayPal account? Can you at least deal with Canadian-based online retailers?

Thanks for the replies guys, but I think I might have 2 options left.
JVC HA-S700 - they are lightweight and look comfy, but I'm not sure about sound quality.
Panasonic RP-HTX7 - look good and people say the sound quality is good for the price.

Oh, and by retail store I mean a store I can walk into, online isn't working for me latly, thanks to verified by visa. I hate visa.

Sennheiser PX-100 have their advocates around here. And they look to be on-sale at the Future Shop. Here's the online link but check in-store availability.
PX-100 at the Future Shop. (They're sold out online)

clunkapher, if you live in GTA by any chance, make sure you check out Bloor Bay Radio. Located inside the mall on the intersection of Bloor and Bay. They have a variety of headphones to which you can listen, they even have the Grado GS1000($1200) and Sennheiser HD650($600). Just go and listen to the headphones of your interest and see if you like them, or perhaps find the headphones which may be worth spending a little more money on.

If you can find a Tom Lee, they sale Sennheiser HD280 Pro for 128CND ( a little over), But they are well known nice cans and cool looking.
