I think joe rogan is right.. we've entered a machida era .. alongside silvia era ... which culminates to.. brazilian era.. its like UFC 1 again

The Machida fight was pure awesomeness. I've waited so long for Evans to get dropped. @ the Anderson Silva comments, I didn't see his last fight, but all of his prior fights were exciting and he finished.

Nobody watches the fights anymore or what?

How bout that anderson silva? You arent gonna beat this guy unless you do something nuts like a flying scissor heel lock like Chonan in PRIDE. if you cant do some circus sh*t then your chances are low imo.

Isn't Silva vacating his belt and changing weight classes?

Did you see Cyborg murder Carano? I honestly didn't see any other possible outcome.

i heard silva is getting bored with MMA and might leave UFC after his contract is up and go into boxing

Silva doesn't have to relinquish his belt to go up a weight division, He's doing what BJ was trying to do (but couldn't). If silva's bored with MMA, Boxing won't hold his interest that much longer. While he may be a great mma fighter, I can't see him lasting that long in boxing, although he would probably earn quite a bit more.

I agree, the last couple of UFC's weren't that great, in fact I think I was more impressed in the sanchez guida fight night more so than the previous two events. The WEC's ok, but it just feels odd seeing the same fighters fight constantly.

Who knows, maybe the next season of TUF will be good, but I have my doubts. Heavyweights aren't exactly that amazing to watch in MMA. Boxing yes, MMA no. There are some exceptions of course like Fedor, Mirko, Andre Arlovski (when he was ACTUALLY fighting) etc... but still a lot of boring heavy weights.

Silva can be beat. Machida could possibly do it. I wish someone would beat him..soon.
Lol...I agree Cyborg looks like she has been juicin. Look at her jaw/chin and face compared to Carano. VERY manly looking. Sshhh...don't tell her I said that..heehehe.

The match I'm waiting for now is Diego Sanchez vs. BJ Penn. There has been some rumors about this match and I really hope that it happens soon. It should be very interesting. I really think that Diego has a good chance beating BJ Penn.

I agree Patu...I have always liked Sanchez, very game. Now he has finally gotten his striking skills in line and he looks great. Penn better watch his a##...lol

Yes, Diego is my favorite in light weight division. Has been since TUF season 1.

Diego Sanchez has a fairly good top game with his jiu jitsu, not so much from the bottom. He'd get mauled by BJ. I don't see BJ getting KOed either.

from what i've heard, he only has about 5-6 fights left before his contract ends and he retires. his last fight was brutal; he walked all over Forrest. most entertaining fight i ever seen. the BJ vs. KenFlo fight was unfair to begin with, but was a decent fight to watch; classic BJ Penn.

the 2 fights i'm waiting to see are Lesnar vs. Fedor and Silva vs. Machida. both are highly unlikely though because Silva has already stated that he won't fight Machida because they are like brothers and Fedor's manager is just a pain to deal with and won't let Fedor fight in the UFC.

i'm also waiting to see the new season of TUF. it's going to be pretty interesting with Rashad and Rampage being the coaches. along with Kimbo Slice and some former football players being on either teams.
