Black Imod 5.5g 30GB
Here is a piece of my portable setup up for sale. This Ipod was bought new old stock about 3 months ago, I finally hunted one down at a retail shop but it took a lot of effort. I did not even open it and sent it straight to Red Wine Audio and had it Imod'ed.
It is in absolutely flawless condition. Its like buying one brand new if you could. I adore this Imod with my iQube/UE-11 combo, but i just purchased an SR-007 and made a deposit on a KGBH SE. Frankly, my wallet is empty and im thinking my home setup needs the funds. Right now i might not be able to afford the luxury of having a close to $3000.00 portable setup.
ALO Imod Jumbo Cryo X Au/ag LOD
Along with my Imod is my Special Order LOD from ALO Audio.
I was originally interested in Ken's best Imod cable, the Jumbo Cryo X silver Cable. Which is Two Jumbo Cryo copper cables and two cryo silver cables. But i asked him if he could do a custom order for me and take his Jumbo Cryo X Silver Imod LOD and coat the silver cables in gold. He said he could and this is what I have now. The Imod requires you to use a cable with built in capacitors because the capacitors have not been put into the 5.5 Imod. This cable has blackgate capacitors that have been burned in nicely with about 300 hours and everything is in prestine condition.
This combo with my iQube headamp and UE-11s give me so much musical enjoyment to say the least, but funds are running pretty tight.
The black 5.5g 30g Ipod was about $200.00 brand new.
The RWA Imod modification was $250.00
The ALO Cable was $225.00
Total cost brand new: $675.00 plus tax and shipping costs.
