How open are the iGrado?

It seems odd to me that they would market them as a portable pair yet still make them open. I will mostly be using these at the gym with my mp3 player, do you think the sound is loud enough to be bothersome?

Oh well, I'm not leaning towards the closed, pcx 200.

You mean open as in physically airy? Very open, just like any Grado it has both "sides" of the driver open to air behind grills/mesh. It will leak sound, depends how angry your gym buddies will be =P
