Not sure where to put this because

I see their sponsor forum is gone, now just a link to their sales site? Anyone have any greater info that a mere customer wouldn't know?

Cheers

I'm not sure what happened to their forum, but I was looking at buying from them until I read the posts in it...

Customer service (responding to emails) and shipping time seemed to be an issue talked about a fair bit.

Yea I would feel a bit bad if they are just genuinely slow on the uptake & they were (or indeed are) working on my order. Just a bit difficult to tell right now.

AudiophileChina.com actually asked me some time ago if they could replace their Premier Sponsor Forum with a link to their site instead. I thought I had done that soon after their request, but noticed yesterday that I indeed had not.

If you have any customer service questions, I would suggest contacting them direclty.

Aaah thank's for clearing that up.

Indeed, we have email communication but does seem to be rather one-way.

If I have got it wrong (hope so) then I apologise.

It was two way before I paid and was told that my order would be shipped within 24 hrs. It's now 48hrs and still waiting for them to ship my item.

WOW, that's disgusting.

Seriously, I like their choice of equipment, the prices and all. I haven't bought anything from them yet, though.

my understanding of it is they have different depts. (one being casque hifi, in france) & they don't communicate with themselves AT ALL. if you order something, & it's not in stock, they may not even tell you. you use the email provided (to the CEO, no less) & he/she seems clueless about any order or you may have made. all the while, they have your money, so if you're not satisfied you have to claw it back (paypal, credit card etc...), because they really can't be bothered to make the first move in communicating to the customer. he/she might reply if you badger them too much but then that would be a vague reply designed, imo, to keep you hanging on. perhaps they just get good interest on peoples money before they pull it back?

so good luck!

i placed order with them and paid through my friend in China on Monday. They don't even reply my emails nor the phone calls from my friend in China. Has anyone actually received anything from them?

Sorry to hear. Only two days passed on so far though, so do not loose hope just yet.
As for "anyone actually received anything" it looks that way from their feedback thread - http://www.head-fi.org/forums/f92/au...echina-350643/

I think ill stick with the better known companies like RSA, Meier, HeadAmp, Whiplash,Portaphile,HeadRoom, etc.
Head-Direct seems ok, because ive met Fang and he seems cool. I buy things from him at meets.
I think theres a thread here that Jude started that people can vote on their favourite companies to deal with. Maybe use that as a guide.

Yeah, from back in 2008. Just like this thread.
The lack of more recent feedback probably should be taken as a clue.
