By the looks of things, it seems you're one of only a few who use large headphones in their portable rig.
Do you use the grado's straight out of your portable player or amped?

For the grado's I just go straight out of the player. They really don't need an amp in my opinion. I love them as portable cans. They have seen so much use over the last year that the ear pads are starting to fall apart.


The 650s didn't last long in portable duty, their just to bulky.
the grados can be turned flat against my chest and left around my neck when not in use making them perfect to wear everywhere.

i use my esp6's at home, hooked up to my analog tube system (dynaco PAS, FM1, Stereo-70).

i use my pro4aa's at work in a high noise enviroment (liquid nitrogen plant) with an mp3 player.

i sometimes use my hv1's in bed to listen to music or tv through a sherwood HT receiver.
