My old Thinkpad X40 recently died and my new laptop doesn't have a CardBus slot, so I'm selling this and my Echo Indigo DJ. AFAIK, it's the best PCMCIA audio interface under $1000: professional quality preamps and converters -- and every I/O you will probably ever need.
Overall, it is in like-new condition (see note below). There is literally not a scratch on the PC card or MicroDock box.
Along with the PC card and MicroDock comes the case for the PC card, original power supply, original shielded EDI cable (for connecting PC card to MicroDock) and all the original driver/software CDs.
Note 1: There's a loose connection in the PC card's headphone out. When you plug in headphones, the sound isn't always there. Fiddle for a second or two and the sound will magically appear and does not cut out. It's so minor that it hasn't ever bothered me, but if you find it to be a problem, I'll give you a full refund.
Obviously, this won't be any issue at all for recording purposes, or if you connect to the MicroDock for listening. I recommend doing this because it sounds better than listening through the PC card.
Note 2: Unfortunately, this is a PC-only audio interface and does not work with Macs.
Check out the Sound on Sound rave review if you're not familiar with the 1616m.
More info from E-MU. (Link is for PCI version -- the PCMCIA version is AWOL on their site.)

$190 including Paypal and CONUS shipping.
If you live in Manhattan and can meet me, I'll drop the price to $170. Saves us both a lot of hassle and you can check it out in person before committing.
If you want both this and the Indigo DJ, let me know and we can work out a deal.
SOLD!
