question:connecting the ultra micro amp with foreign dac

Hi as said in the topic, can i connect my ultra micro to other dac,not the headroom dac? i know that headroom's dacs are probably the best quality ones and the best match for their amps, but can i still plug the ultra micro to a foreign dac without ruining my amp?
i afraid that if the amp will get a "not proper load,stream" from another dac it can be not good for it!

You can plug it into anything that's got a standard-volume line-out. So pretty much any non-balanced DAC. HRs Dacs have loud line stages anyways, so I don't see anything else really being louder.
