OK i just got it now, great packaging guys, took ages to come out, lots of wrapping and 2 layer cardbox.

But since this is my first tube amp, how the hell do you connect the tube to the ef-1. When i put the tube inside the tube socket i can't push it down? Are you meant to leave it like that? THen how to you take it out.

Sorry really confused as it came with no instruction manual.

It is possible that we shipped a wrong tube to you. Could you please email me a pic of the tube? If the tube is wrong (not 12au7), it won't fit. Then we will ship you another RCA cleartop 12au7 tube.

I don't have a high resolution camera as you can see above. There's black marker (with some weird number) and black smudges on it, any ideas why?. But it fits alright. How about you show me a picture. If by cleartop you mean the tube is clear on the top then yes, does this confirm it?
