That's obviously what he said. How many other portable DAC's by the aforementioned manufacturers do you know? The only reason I can see for your post is to advertise competitive products, and this forum really isn't the place for that. |

This thread just isn't complete without reminding of the later great 2006 MicroDAC which I still love.
I ran that off 9 volt batteries for several months when I didn't have a 220 volt power supply. It kicks butt on battery power. |

Give us an updated 2006 MicroDAC with great sound and smaller size and a lot of H1xx owners will be pumped.

The current Portable Micro has basically the same DAC stage, and an amp and rechargeable batteries built into the same size enclosure.
I'd say that's a step up, unless you have your heart set on using another amp. Personally, I think that just the one box for amp and DAC is a great recommendation. |
