Fill out your Profile - Page 4

I've kept my profile up to date and enjoy showing pics of my gear...new and old, as many do...nothing high-end but it seems still fun to peak at considering the views I get at Webshots. I do get a few questions about my gear and I credit my profile and links...no expert but always willing to give my 2 cents.

Good thread. I hope newbies will add their location as well. It's frustrating trying to answer questions when the country or state a person is in isn't known. For all one knows, advice could be bad for the reason of their location alone.

I agree. It's nice to know someone's location. Can help with gear recommendations. Also can help explain miscommunication in some instances due to possible language differences. Plus, I just find it interesting to know where people are located.

Yeah, a filled in profile (especially gear and location) are quite helpful when answering questions.
So please take 5 minutes to fill it in, and a minute now an then to make sure it is up-to-date.

Indeed. A worthy bump. Don't just fill it out guys. Keep it up to date with how things progress. And add a profile picture! I like snooping through peoples profiles and seeing what pictures some people have.

I totally agree. Without a properly filled out profile it's hard to gauge people's responses. I have very limited headphone experience so it's nice to be able to see someone's sig/profile and talk to members who have used similar/identical equipment.

Plus you/we may find out a poster is close by. If so and either has interesting gear it would make for an easy mini meet to try out new stuff.

So go and fill out your profile!

Good point Mrarroyo. I'd like to be able to sort the Members list by location to help find people for meets. Of course, people have to fill in location with something meaningful.
