Nixon Headphones

Hi all,

OKOKOK I KNOW! this is an audiophile forum but i thought i should bring this up to see if there's any interest anyways.

nixon is a well respected company in terms of watches. i personally own several and love all of them (especially the 51-30 pu)

well... they've just made some new cans and they look sweet.

there's not much info about them but it looks like that they've thought them out well.

memory foam, removable cable, iphone compatibility, custom molded carrying case etc...

according to their website (nixonnow.com) they are set to be released in 10 days or so.

im definitely going to check them out but any thoughts?

I'm actually diggin the steampunk kinda retro look.
But i wouldn't buy headphones from a company that makes watches


I'm not stopping you from buying it but i just wouldn't expect great quality.

They have nice watches though.

yea i agree with you in terms of the company...
wesc headphones are well... *gross*

i guess i just have a little more faith in nixon as they make solid products and have invested 2 years researching before making these..
i'll make sure to post back when i get a chance to hear them

Their watches aren't that great. I bought the Block SS watch and had to return it to them 3 times because the stupid "auto illumination" setting kept turning off by itself. I called Nixon for each return, explaining my problem, and they send me back a defective replacement. Good/fast customer service, but not very smart. Anyway... I replaced it for a silver Murf, now I'm all

nah I love my black titanium player but headphones from nixon hmmm I dont think so. sounds like an attempt to grab the share of the market that cares more about looks than sound. great watches though. not a problem in nearly 4 years. only just replaced the battery for the first time a few days ago.
