Could someone tell me how scratch resistant the plastic screens on Sony Walkmans are? I keep worrying about mine, but I'm thinking it could be over nothing.

I know people bash on Bose because of they're over priced and I agree. I believe these retail for about $150 or so and I paid $85 for these due to employee discount at where I work. With that...

I bought these headphones as an upgrade from my BD DT-770 Pro 80Ohm. The are better in all areas, except that the right can can't handle bass. As soon as there are low bass it just becomes a...

everything about these headphones is flawless. Everything is balanced, and perfect. Any of the reviews that didn't like them most likely have a fake pair, or, hate life. The only thing I could...

aesthetically, minor scratches are difficult if impossible to avoid (but come with a lot of quick fixes). In terms of deep highly visible scratches I wouldn't worry about those too much. You might want to invest in scratch-resistant protector screens, like InvisiShield or the like.

my gf has the a818 and was used daily w/o any protection. screen nor body is scratched. i was actually very impressed. though player was mostly kept in coat pocket or bag. never in a pocket with keys or coins.
Don't screen protectors usually leave a sticky residue around the edges of the screen?

It seems to be very tough, like my Nokia E51's screen (which I've had for six months and still not a single scratch on it despite no protection). Not taking the chance though. Yesterday I found an old Dell Axim X50v screen protector (from Brando) that I've not used yet, so I cut it to size and applied on my Walkmna.
If you get one of those 'reusable' screen protectors that are mainly sold for PDAs, you won't get sticky residue on the screen or the edges.
