Thread Starter
Anyone w/ the Westone 3 compare sound isolation between these two w/ the foamies or comply tips?
I use them for airplane/subway usage so sound isolation is important to me
Thanks...

This interests me as well, and if I just may add the Sennheiser IE7/IE8 into the equation too?

I'm waiting for a few of these threads to appear, to see if it's worth upgrading mine. Will be interesting to see what the lucky people that own both think about them.

It's been a while since I sold my Shure E500, but I can say that the W3 have as much isolation as the Etymotic ER4S which are no slouch in terms of noise attenuation.

anything that uses compressible foams is going to have good isolation
